The United States is set to file a lawsuit against a military officer who made millions of dollars in profit through insider trading.

BlockBeats News, August 28th, according to sources familiar with the matter, federal authorities are preparing to file a lawsuit against a U.S. military personnel who is suspected of betting on military actions on the Polymarket platform and profiting over $1 million, as part of a forthcoming wave of insider trading cases. The individual, who has been under scrutiny since the spring, reportedly made successful bets on events related to military strikes against Iran and Venezuela on the prediction market. This is one of several investigations targeting military personnel involved in war outcome betting contracts regarding the timing and results of military actions.


Furthermore, the U.S. is also investigating a KPMG employee who allegedly bet on a company's performance to exceed the market's expectations. (The Wall Street Journal)
