The suspected a16z address cluster has been on a shopping spree for three consecutive days, accumulating a total of $306 million in HYPE since May.

According to TradingBeats (formerly Hyperinsight), as of the time of writing, 12 addresses suspected to be associated with a16z are still continuously buying HYPE through TWAP. In this round, they plan to buy 146,900 tokens, with 127,600 tokens already executed. The recalculated total amount based on individual transactions is approximately $104.19 million, with a weighted average price of around $81.68. The order completion rate is about 86.8%. There are still 19,300 tokens to be executed in the remaining 12 TWAP transactions, valued at approximately $1.596 million at the current price.

This is the third consecutive day of buying by this cluster. In the two previous days, they bought 148,100 tokens and 146,300 tokens of HYPE, with transaction amounts of approximately $119.68 million and $119.98 million, respectively. Together with today's executed portion, the cumulative purchase in the past three days is about 422,000 tokens of HYPE, with an actual investment of around $34.38 million.

Out of the 294,400 HYPE purchased in the first two rounds, approximately 294,300 tokens were subsequently transferred from the original executing account, accounting for about 99.94%, and entered the HyperEVM and staking-related account system. This movement represents chip relocation, should not be directly interpreted as a sell-off, and does not imply that all have been staked; the newly purchased HYPE today mainly remains in the 12 executing addresses.

Records show that these 12 addresses have been consistently buying HYPE through TWAP since May 11. From May to June, a total of 244 TWAP buy orders were completed, with a cumulative transaction of around 4.2362 million tokens and an amount of about $272 million.

Considering the three rounds of orders executed from August 25th to today, this cluster has accumulated approximately 4.6582 million HYPE since May, and the total historical transaction amount has risen to around $306 million. If the remaining orders are all completed today, the total purchase volume will further increase to approximately 4.6775 million tokens.
