BlockBeats News, August 27th, Bybit's institutional-grade real asset yield platform RWA Earn (Bybit RWA Yield) has added the nOPAL product, further expanding its institutional business and product offerings. nOPAL is built on Brazilian credit card receivables and is managed by BlackOpal Finance, deployed on the open finance platform Plume.
nOPAL's yield comes from Brazilian merchants selling future credit card receivables at a discount, with the discount portion converted into investor returns after the acquirer settles through the Visa and Mastercard networks. The product hedges against Brazilian real to US dollar exchange rate fluctuations through institutional-grade non-deliverable forward contracts, with returns distributed in US dollars; meanwhile, it has a dedicated liquidity reserve to support redemptions.
As of August 2026, nOPAL has had a rolling 30-day yield of approximately 12%, with a total locked value exceeding $70 million. Since November 2025, the strategy has recorded zero defaults and zero credit losses. The product has received a investment-grade risk rating from Cicada Partners and has secured over $300 million in institutional committed funds.
Subscription and redemption of nOPAL on Bybit RWA Earn are priced in USDC, with a minimum investment of 500 USDC and no subscription or redemption fees. To celebrate the launch of nOPAL, eligible users will enjoy an additional up to +5% promotional APY on top of the underlying product yield.
