Crude Oil Continues to Rise, Russia Prepares to Intensify Attacks on Ukraine, Believing Peace Talks Have Reached an Impasse

BlockBeats News, August 27th, according to Bitget market data, international oil prices continued to rise, with Brent crude oil surpassing $88 per barrel, up 2.57% intraday; WTI crude oil futures rose to $83 per barrel, up 2.33% intraday.

On the news front, according to three sources close to the Kremlin, Russia is preparing to escalate its military strikes against Ukraine after the peace agreement negotiations reached a deadlock. Insiders revealed that Russia is currently considering intensifying its strong conventional ballistic missile attacks on infrastructure targets in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.

The sources stated that all negotiation frameworks have effectively collapsed, and the warring parties have returned to square one. They also indicated that Putin will not end the war despite the economic pressure from sanctions and Ukraine's attacks on Russian refineries and logistics networks.

Insiders revealed that Moscow increasingly views Ukraine's airstrikes as attacks by NATO countries since NATO members are providing weapons and intelligence to Kyiv. The sources noted that the current stage of hostilities has not yet reached the peak of military escalation.
