Binance founder Changpeng Zhao stated during the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium 2026 that if Hyperliquid could enter the U.S. market compliantly, it would be a huge boost for the entire crypto industry. He believes that the key aspect of Hyperliquid is not just its own entry into the U.S., but its potential to serve as a "breakthrough." Once the U.S. allows such decentralized perpetual contract platforms to operate compliantly, more DEXs and on-chain financial services may enter the U.S. market in the future.

Zhao also mentioned that many people assume he only supports centralized exchanges because he is a Binance shareholder, but in reality, he has always believed in decentralization. He sees Hyperliquid's U.S. entry not only bringing more liquidity and better prices but also benefiting the entire industry, stating that "what's good for them is good for us."
