Bernard Discusses U.S. Treasury Buyback Plan: No Bonds Purchased Yet, Next Move on September 9th

BlockBeats News, August 25th, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen on the U.S. Treasury Repo Plan: We have not purchased any bonds yet, and the next operation will be on September 9th.

The U.S. Treasury Department previously announced that starting from September 9th, the scale of the long-term liquidity support repurchase will be increased from a maximum of $20 billion per operation to at least $40 billion. In addition, market rumors suggest that the U.S. Treasury Department may tap into nearly $1 trillion of Treasury's general account funds to support the recently announced expansion of the U.S. bond repurchase plan.
