US Congresswoman Tlaib, who opposes the CLARITY Act, has been revealed to hold BTC and ETH-related ETFs

BlockBeats News, August 23, according to the New York Post report, U.S. Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib's latest financial disclosure revealed that her retirement account of about $1.2 million includes a maximum of $15,000 in Grayscale Ethereum ETF and a maximum of $15,000 in Bitcoin ETF. Both are ETF holdings, not directly holding BTC or ETH.

The disclosure document shows that the account holds a total of 41 investments. As U.S. lawmakers are only required to disclose assets in ranges, the exact scale of Tlaib's holdings of the above crypto ETFs cannot be determined.

Tlaib had previously voted against the CLARITY Act supporting the crypto industry and endorsed a resolution aimed at banning "crypto corruption." The CLARITY Act is expected to be submitted to the Senate for review in September after the U.S. Congress concludes its recess.
