Iraqi President: Some Loaded Iraq Oil Tankers Already Permitted to Pass through the Strait of Hormuz

BlockBeats News, August 22nd, according to CCTV News, on the local time of the 22nd, Iraqi President Salih stated that the Iraqi side had previously communicated with visiting Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Qalibaf and conveyed a message to the Iranian side about reevaluating the bilateral relationship. Salih also stated that some ships carrying Iraqi oil have been allowed to pass through the Hormuz Strait.


Salih emphasized that the Iraqi government must engage in dialogue with paramilitary groups, achieve mutual understanding, and resolve the arms control issue through a solution that aligns with Iraq's national and ethnic interests. He stated that the Iranian side did not request Iraq to postpone the national arms control process.
