Kraken Poised to Become First HIP-3 Compliant CEX Deployment

BlockBeats News, August 21st, according to Blockworks analyst Shaunda Devens, the Hyperliquid testnet has added whitelist, forced liquidation, collateral transfer, and other compliance and operational control functions.

Currently, a node named "Kraken HIP-3 test DEX" is testing these permissioned functions and has already whitelisted 10 wallets. Although the testnet supports permissionless deployment, coupled with Kraken's parent company's recent business expansion, the community speculates that Kraken may be the first centralized exchange (CEX) to test this compliance DEX functionality.
