Whale's "Set 10 Major Goals First": Bitcoin Will Not Go Straight Up, Mid-Term Target is $100,000 by March Next Year

BlockBeats News, August 21st, Whale "First Sets 10 Big Goals" posted on Platform X, stating that they had re-entered a short position at $76,000. The logic behind this move is quite simple: "When I established a long position around $63,000, my initial target was $74,000. I believe the bull market has returned, and this assessment has not changed so far. However, I have always believed that this round should be a shake-upward. At least for now, from a macro and market structure perspective, I have not seen sufficient signals to support this trend."

Most of the short positions have now been closed. "Not because I have changed my assessment, but to control risk first. If the price continues to surge extremely, $82,000 and $84,000 are both possible, so there is no need to bet the entire position on the assumption that I am definitely correct."

If the daily candle effectively closes above $80,500, I will admit my mistake on this trade and close it all out, taking a break. If the price ultimately cannot hold up here and weakens again, I will consider adding back the closed short positions."

Whale "First Sets 10 Big Goals" reiterated their medium-term view as follows: "I am still bullish on BTC in the medium to long term, but being bullish in the medium to long term does not conflict with partially shorting. I took this short position to speculate on a pullback during the upward trend, not to call a return to a bear market at this point. If I am wrong, I will admit it above $80,500. I still believe that we will see a $100,000 BTC by March next year."
