BlockBeats News, August 20th - According to Yonhap News Agency on the 20th, South Korea's memory chip giant SK Hynix has reached a preliminary consensus with the labor union on the 2026 salary and collective agreement. The key change is a significant adjustment to the performance bonus distribution method.
The preliminary agreement between the two parties includes a 6.3% salary increase and a revision to the current Profit Sharing (PS) system—40% will be paid out in cash in the same year, while the remaining 60% will be paid in the form of company stocks. If the agreement is finally approved, this will be another important adjustment to SK Hynix's performance bonus system since its restructuring last year.
