BlockBeats News, August 19th. According to Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt, the White House plans to hold an event tomorrow with former President Trump, where multiple tech industry leaders will be in attendance.

A White House official revealed that executives from prediction market companies have not been invited to participate in this event and will not be attending.

BlockBeats previously reported that on August 15th, sources disclosed that former President Trump is expected to attend a cryptocurrency industry innovation conference at the White House next week, where he will engage with several cryptocurrency company executives and leaders from prediction markets and AI companies.

Participants in this conference include executives from Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Robinhood, Polymarket, Kalshi, and other companies. These executives are all members of the newly established Innovation Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Sources stated that the conference is expected to take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House and aims to facilitate policy discussions regarding U.S. financial technology, cryptocurrency assets, prediction markets, and artificial intelligence innovation. CFTC Chairman Mike Selig, along with other government advisors, are also expected to participate, with Treasury Secretary Besent and Commerce Secretary Lutnick potentially in attendance.
