WeChat Work Opens the Door Wide for AI Agents: Self-built Agents Can Now Directly Access Enterprise WeChat

According to a report from PingWest, WeChat Work has completely opened up its AI Agent access capability. External agents such as WorkBuddy, DeepSeek Harness, MiniMax Code, as well as internally developed agents, can all be integrated into WeChat Work through CLI, MCP, or open APIs.

This time, there is no longer a restriction based on the size of the enterprise, enabling access to 10 major office capabilities including messaging, documents, spreadsheets, email, meetings, calendar, and contacts.
