Tibo Spoiler Alert: There will be Astra in the Codex in the future

According to the MotionBeat Monitor, Thibault Sottiaux, the lead of OpenAI Codex, confirmed that Codex will be integrated with Astra in the future. Astra is the next major model publicly named by OpenAI but not yet released. Tibo did not specify a timeline for this integration or disclose which users will have access.

Previously, Astra has demonstrated strong programming capabilities. In a recent internal assessment by OpenAI, it showed significant advancements in Agent programming and cybersecurity, with the possibility of already reaching a "Critical" level of cybersecurity. As a result, OpenAI has paused some internal Astra activities that do not meet the new security requirements.
