BitMart Employee Speaks Out: Demands Disclosure of Platform Assets and Repayment Plan by August 19th

BlockBeats News, August 17th: In response to BitMart users' asset withdrawal restrictions and issues related to employee salaries and compensation, the platform's employees publicly called on BitMart's management and relevant personnel to provide a public response by August 19th regarding the whereabouts of user assets, the platform's reserve status, reasons for withdrawal restrictions, and employee salary compensation. The open letter pointed out that many users are still unable to withdraw their assets normally, and some employees have not received their last month's salary or rightful compensation. In this context, if the platform only responds with an announcement of "cessation of operations," it will not address the actual problems faced by users and employees. The individuals involved requested that BitMart publicly disclose wallet addresses, assets, liabilities, and accessible reserves that can be verified by a third party, and clarify when the platform became aware of the fund and withdrawal issues, who made the related decisions, and whether users were encouraged to accept or trade under known risks.

The open letter also called for an investigation into related accounts, affiliated companies, trusts, and other fund arrangements associated with BitMart user assets, specifically requesting the founder's partner to explain the status of their related accounts and funds. The open letter stated that preliminary unverified information currently shows that BitMart accounts related to the founder's partner may have held assets worth tens of millions of dollars, with records of staggered withdrawals. The individuals emphasized that no criminal conclusions would be made about any individual until the evidence is fully verified, but they requested public clarification on whether the mentioned accounts exist, asset ownership, fund sources, transfer destinations, and their association with BitMart user assets, urging an independent investigation into the fund flows. Additionally, the open letter demanded that BitMart promptly settle employees' rightful salaries and compensation, arguing that ordinary employees should not bear the consequences of management's operational decisions.

Furthermore, the open letter requested BitMart to release a user repayment plan with a clear timeline by August 19th, including the remaining asset size, total liabilities, expected user recovery rate, repayment order, initiation and completion timeline, and oversight mechanism, explicitly proposing to undergo third-party independent audits. The open letter stated that if complete, transparent, and verifiable asset explanations and repayment plans are not provided by then, they will consider submitting existing data, fund traces, and related evidence to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, lawyers, and media outlets to push for further investigations.
