SpaceX Acquires Cursor: $60 Billion Deal Completed, Team Merges into SpaceXAI

According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, SpaceX has officially completed the acquisition of Cursor. Cursor announced that the company has become part of SpaceX, and the team will join SpaceXAI to continue the development of Cursor, while also participating in Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot, and Grok API.

The transaction was finalized in June, with SpaceX acquiring Cursor's parent company Anysphere in an all-stock deal, valuing the transaction at approximately $60 billion. The two parties had previously jointly trained Grok 4.5 and later collaborated on the launch of Grok 4.6.

Now, Cursor has officially transitioned from a partner to an internal team at SpaceX. SpaceX's computing power and Grok models, Cursor's developer tools, data, and Agent capabilities, have also been formally integrated into the same company.
