BlockBeats News, August 14th, CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. posted a message stating that the average Bitcoin coin dormancy period's 30-day moving average has risen to 19 days, and for the first time since the beginning of the year, it has crossed above the 365-day moving average line. Previously dormant BTC is becoming active again. However, following the Coldcard hack incident, this increase may not necessarily be due to selling but rather related to a large amount of BTC being transferred to new wallets. Therefore, the current rise in the dormancy period should not be automatically interpreted as long-term holders distributing their holdings.
