BlockBeats News, August 14th, according to the latest disclosure of holdings for the first half of 2026 by the Norway Government Pension Fund Global (NBIM), the fund revealed its holding of Ethereum treasury company BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) for the first time, with a 1.16% stake as of June 30th, with a holding market value of approximately 8.83 billion Norwegian Krone (about $88.25 million).

The BitMine position held by NBIM in this period accounted for a small percentage of its first-half portfolio, but marked the first public disclosure of the fund's holding in BitMine by the world's largest sovereign wealth fund management institution.

The fund currently has a total size of about $2.34 trillion, with investments in over 7,000 companies across more than 50 countries, holding approximately 1.5% of global listed equities.
