Pudgy Penguins co-founders launch new NFT series Spritehood on the Robinhood Chain, with sales revenue reaching $1.28 million

BlockBeats News, August 12th, Pudgy Penguins co-founder Cole Villemain, who was voted out by the project owner in January 2022, launched a 44,440 NFT series called Spritehood on the Robinhood Chain early Tuesday morning, which sold out in less than an hour. According to on-chain transaction data, the revenue from this NFT minting was approximately $1.28 million.

A total of 37,430 public mints were sold at a price of $17 each, while an additional 5,526 were sold for $117, the latter corresponding to a $100 upgrade option offered on the minting page.

Based on the above data, the total sales revenue for this drop was $1,282,852, equivalent to about 684.28 ETH at the minting contract's price. Prior to the paid sale, the contract deployer also freely minted 1,488 NFTs through 20 zero-price transactions.
