San Francisco's New AI Chatbot Exposed for "Relying Fully on Human Responders": Founder Personally Wrote All Responses

BlockBeats News, August 10th - A new type of "AI Chatbot" called ChatTJB has recently appeared in San Francisco, USA, but the "AI" behind it is not Artificial Intelligence, but rather an "Average Individual."

According to the introduction, ChatTJB was created by artist and former Google employee Tucker Bryant. When users ask questions to this service, all questions will be read, considered, and manually answered by Bryant himself. The official website describes this project as "Artisanal Intelligence" and defines it as a "Single-Operator Large Language Experience (LLE)."

Bryant stated that the project aims to satirize users' overreliance on AI chat tools. He pointed out that with the popularity of AI tools like ChatGPT, people are increasingly accepting seemingly confident and fluent answers, thus reducing independent thinking.

He mentioned that ChatTJB intentionally reduces efficiency to allow users to reexperience waiting, uncertainty, and the thought process. "It is not anti-AI, but encourages people to rethink."

In addition to text responses, ChatTJB also responds to users' image generation requests through hand-drawn pictures. The project's official website clearly states that this is a satirical public art project and not a genuine AI product.

Bryant expressed his hope that after experiencing ChatTJB, users will pause to think when facing AI-generated content in the future: smooth and confident answers do not necessarily represent the correct answers.
