BlockBeats News, August 7th. According to official sources, e-commerce operational funding RWA platform Dow Protocol announced the completion of a $10.5 million Seed round of financing. The round was co-led by MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital, with participation from Animoca Brands, Arcane Group, Hashkey Chain, Essentia Partners, and Quartet Group.
Dow Protocol targets merchants on top global e-commerce platforms, providing operational funding based on their sales receivables and actual operational data. Its underlying asset servicing system is embedded in mainstream e-commerce platforms, allowing direct access to merchants' raw operational data for credit assessment and risk control. Through cooperation with the platforms, repayments are deducted directly from the platform, bypassing the merchant's account, thereby controlling repayment risk from the source and establishing a leading industry receivables mechanism.
On the funding side, Dow Protocol leverages the instant settlement capability of stablecoins to compress the lengthy loan disbursement process in traditional lending to same-day settlement at the fastest. For the cash flow-sensitive operational funding market, the speed of disbursement itself is value, so they are willing to pay a premium for this efficiency. At the same time, Dow Protocol is driving the on-chain native generation of new logic for operational funding, allowing funding terms to be executed in a highly granular programmable manner, restructuring the underlying operational logic of supply chain finance.
Dow Protocol is positioned as a universal pan-e-commerce PayFi RWA funding protocol, and its framework can be extended to the supply chain financing needs of various scenarios such as e-commerce, catering, payment, gaming, AI computing power, and more.
