BlockBeats News, August 7th: According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo will hold a face-to-face meeting with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in Silicon Valley, USA next week to deepen their cooperation in artificial intelligence infrastructure and robotics. This meeting comes about two months after the two executives met in Seoul in early June. Sources say the two parties are expected to discuss the potential investment scale and technology development timeline.
During the Seoul meeting on June 8th, Jensen Huang stated that NVIDIA would collaborate with LG Group in the humanoid robot and next-generation data center fields. At that time, Koo Kwang-mo mentioned that due to time constraints, they could not engage in detailed discussions, and Jensen Huang promptly invited him to California for further talks. This Silicon Valley meeting is a continuation and deepening of the Seoul meeting. LG Group's subsidiary, LG Electronics, has previously engaged in multiple collaborations with NVIDIA in the AI data center and robotics fields. This high-level direct dialogue will establish a specific framework and roadmap for their strategic cooperation in AI infrastructure and robotics.
