Former OpenAI Chief Scientist Ilya is finally ready to play his cards, SSI's first model to debut in August

According to Dynamic Insights monitoring, AI lab Safe Superintelligence (SSI), founded by former OpenAI Chief Scientist Ilya Sutskever, is likely to release a model in August.

Atreides Management Managing Partner and CIO Gavin Baker revealed on the "Invest Like The Best" podcast: "SSI said they will release a model in August."

SSI has been conducting secret research since its establishment two years ago, without releasing any models or disclosing technical details. At the end of July, it just entered into a long-term partnership with NVIDIA, with plans to increase its computing power by about 10 times. NVIDIA also invested $5 billion in SSI. At that time, Ilya stated that the team already had research results "worthy of scaling up."
