Cherry Studio 2.0 Release: Million Lines of Code Rewrite, Introduction of Agent Mode

According to DeepBeat Monitoring, Cherry Studio has released 2.0. This multi-model AI desktop client has rewritten the underlying architecture, interface, and data system, with the team stating that the cumulative changes exceed a million lines of code. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and 1.x users can upgrade directly.

The new version prominently features the Agent mode. Users can integrate tools such as Claude Code and Codex to allow AI to search for information, write documents, create presentations, analyze data, and edit code. The operating environment is already built-in, eliminating the need to separately install numerous dependencies.
