The Fourth Wave of Coldcard Attack May Have Affected 462 Victims, with 388.93 BTC Stolen

BlockBeats News, August 3rd, according to Onchain Lens data, the Coldcard hardware wallet vulnerability has resulted in a loss of $88.6 million. So far, there have been four waves of attacks.

First and Second Waves: 1,158.81 BTC belonging to 2,673 victims were stolen;

Third Wave: 207.73 BTC from 293 monitored P2WSH vaults were affected;

The fourth wave is still unconfirmed and may involve 388.93 BTC from 462 victims.
