BlockBeats News, August 1st, according to Reuters, Google's parent company Alphabet stated that it is rolling back its AI-powered image creation feature launched in Google Earth just one day ago, as user-shared images appeared to violate company policy.
The feature, powered by Google's Nano Banana 2 AI model, allowed users to input text prompts to generate realistic images based on Google Earth's satellite, aerial, and 3D imagery for any location on Earth.
The tool faced criticism for its potential to spread misinformation, as it enabled users to create false scenes on top of real images of monuments and landmarks.
