According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, Google has abandoned the planned launch of the Google AI Studio iOS and Android App. It was supposed to bring the AI Studio's app generation and code editing capabilities to mobile, allowing users to create software with prompts. Around 800,000 people had already signed up, but Google has decided not to release a standalone app.
The app generation feature will be directly integrated into Gemini. In the future, users will be able to describe their requirements in a regular conversation and have Gemini generate the corresponding app. This feature is planned to cover both mobile and desktop platforms, and the specific release date has not been announced yet.
The web version of Google AI Studio will continue to be developed and is still aimed at users who want to go from prompts to a complete product.
