Amazon's 15% Surge Leads Stock Market Rebound, FOMC Curse Strikes Crypto Again, Trump Likely to Target Iran Again Over the Weekend

BlockBeats News, August 1st. Last night and this morning, the U.S. stock market continued its rebound. According to BIT (bit.com) market data, individual stocks saw Amazon surge over 15%, Apple briefly drop over 10%, and ultimately closing down 7.35%. In addition, Google rose by 6.73%, Nvidia by 2.93%, MetaPlatforms by 3.28%, Microsoft by 3.02%, and SpaceX dropped by 3.41%.


AI stocks also experienced mixed performance. Micron Technology closed down by 3.58%, Micron fell by 5.93%. MRVL rose by 2.32%, leading to a general rise in small-cap CPO concept stocks. According to HTX market data, the FOMC curse struck the crypto market again on Friday. Bitcoin plummeted by over 3%, now trading at $62,988.10. Ethereum saw a relatively smaller decline, trading at $1,866.70.


On the news front, U.S. officials stated that Trump has ordered a new round of attacks on Iran, aiming to force Tehran's surrender. The operation could start as early as this weekend and may last for several days. In response to this news, the price of both oil types surged again on trade.xyz, with Brent Crude oil trading at $90.574, up nearly 4% in 24 hours.
