Bank of Japan Governor: BOJ Expected to Continue Interest Rate Hikes

BlockBeats News, July 31: Haruhiko Kuroda, Governor of the Bank of Japan, stated that the Japanese economy is expected to maintain moderate growth. It is projected that the year-on-year CPI growth rate in the latter half of the 2026 fiscal year will accelerate to a level "significantly above" 2%. The Bank of Japan is expected to continue its interest rate hike and adjust the degree of easing policy according to economic, price, and financial conditions. (Kinvo)
