BlockBeats News, July 29th, according to market data, the SpaceX stock price has dropped by about 50% from its peak on June 16th. Previously, its price had risen by about 50% from the IPO price. Vanda Research data shows that in July, retail investors have collectively bought about $315 million worth of SpaceX stock, higher than any other single stock during the same period.

The data shows that based on the same number of trading days since going public, SpaceX is currently lagging behind about 80% of large Nasdaq IPOs. Just weeks ago, its performance was leading about 80% of its IPO peers, reflecting a rapid reversal in market sentiment and momentum trading.

Furthermore, SpaceX's initial batch of restricted shares is expected to start unlocking on August 6, 2026, and will be released in monthly installments until all shares are fully unlocked by December.
