DOGE Meme Creator Clarifies: CATE Token is Unrelated to Me, Only Endorses DOG and COCORO Projects

BlockBeats News, July 28th, Doge's Original Shiba Inu Kabosu's owner Atsuko Sato clarified in a post that a series of CATE tokens circulating in the market recently have no connection with her. She stated that she had only posted a story on Instagram before, but this content was later improperly utilized by others without authorization, who then used it to issue fake tokens, creating a false impression of association with her. She expressed regret about this and pointed out that some accounts involved in spreading this misinformation even included users with significant influence on the X platform.

She emphasized that the only project currently authorized by her and responsible for managing her intellectual property is Own The Doge. She explained that Own The Doge acquired Doge NFT in 2021 and launched the DOG token, while also being in charge of organizing Doge Day events, supporting charity, and managing her intellectual property. In 2025, the two parties also collaborated to launch the COCORO token on the Base network.

She mentioned that the earnings from these projects will be used to take care of her pet family members and support animal welfare activities conducted by withkabosu. She urged the public to rely on officially released information and to remain vigilant against any unauthorized projects or tokens issued in her name, avoiding believing in any cryptocurrency projects unrelated to her.
