BlockBeats News, July 28th, E-commerce Operation Financing RWA platform Dow Protocol announced the completion of a $9 million Seed round financing, with participation from MH Ventures, OKX Ventures, Animoca Brands, Arcane Group, Essentia Partners, and Quartet Group.
Dow Protocol targets merchants on top global e-commerce platforms, providing operational funding based on their sales receivables and real operational data. Its underlying asset servicing system is embedded in mainstream e-commerce platforms, allowing direct access to merchants' raw operational data for credit underwriting and risk control. At the same time, through collaboration with the platforms, repayments are deducted directly from the platform, bypassing the merchant's account, thus controlling repayment risks from the source and establishing a leading industry receivables mechanism.
On the funding side, Dow Protocol leverages the instant settlement capability of stablecoins to compress the lengthy loan disbursement process in traditional lending to same-day funding at the fastest. For the cash flow-sensitive operational funding market, the speed of disbursement itself is value, so stakeholders are willing to pay a premium for this efficiency. Furthermore, Dow Protocol promotes the on-chain native generation of new logic for operational financing, allowing financing terms to be executed in a highly granular, programmable manner, restructuring the underlying operational logic of supply chain finance.
Dow Protocol is positioned as a universal e-commerce PayFi RWA financing protocol, and its framework can be extended to supply chain finance needs in various scenarios such as e-commerce, dining, payments, gaming, AI computing power, and more.
