BlockBeats News, July 27th, Swiss digital asset bank AMINA is collaborating with Wall Street financial institution Cantor to assess possible paths to a future public market debut.
Insiders revealed that AMINA had previously considered going public through methods such as a SPAC but is now more inclined to pursue a listing through a reverse merger with Digital Asset Treasury (DAT). However, discussions are still ongoing, and no final decision has been made yet.
AMINA stated that the company's current focus is on bringing in capital to support strategic growth rather than simply seeking a quick listing, with a potential IPO still being an option for the next stage.
Founded in 2018, AMINA, formerly known as SEBA Bank, was renamed in 2023. The company is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and is one of the few licensed banks in the digital asset space, offering services such as cryptocurrency trading, custody, staking, and lending. It has now expanded its operations to the UAE, Hong Kong, and Indian markets.
In recent years, with crypto enterprises like Circle, Bullish, Gemini, and others going public in the capital markets, the industry has seen a new wave of IPO frenzy. As of the end of 2025, AMINA had 74.60 million CHF in Tier 1 capital and had raised a total of approximately $2.45 billion.
