Naver Partners with NVIDIA and Brookfield to Build Exascale AI Cloud Infrastructure, Sejong AI Factory to Expand to 200 Megawatts

BlockBeats News, July 27th - South Korean internet company Naver, Nvidia, and Brookfield Asset Management plan to invest in and build exascale AI cloud infrastructure in South Korea and the United States.


It is reported that Naver and Nvidia will expand the GAK Sejong AI Factory in Sejong City, South Korea, to a 200-megawatt scale, with the goal of completion by 2028. The AI Factory is expected to utilize Nvidia's latest AI infrastructure, including the Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms.


In addition, Naver plans to further expand the deployment of Nvidia's AI infrastructure to 1 gigawatt to support large-scale AI computing demands. This collaboration aims to promote the development of AI computing power infrastructure in South Korea and strengthen the global AI cloud service layout.
