BlockBeats News, July 25th, the cryptocurrency wallet Phantom announced plans to end support for the Monad network starting on August 26th.
Phantom stated that in the future, they will notify Monad users through the app and provide related support documentation to help users migrate or redeem Monad native assets.
The official announcement emphasized that all Monad assets will still be accessible. Users can, after the transition is complete, restore their mnemonic phrase into a Monad-compatible wallet or swap the assets to Wrapped MON on Solana within Phantom.
Phantom indicated that user funds will remain secure throughout the entire migration process, with assets always under the user's control. Due to Phantom's non-custodial nature, on-chain assets are owned by the user, and asset control is determined by mnemonic phrase recovery rather than the wallet provider.
