ChatGPT is starting to read medical records, and even free users can use it

According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, OpenAI has opened up ChatGPT Health to all adult users in the U.S., covering the Free, Go, Plus, and Pro plans.

Users can integrate Apple Health, hospital records, One Medical, and Function Health. ChatGPT can explain test results, organize medication information, and prepare visit questions based on personal data.

With user consent, everyday conversations can also access this data. For example, discussions about diet, exercise, and travel can reference allergies, injuries, and medication usage.

OpenAI stated that health data and related conversations will not be used to train the base model or for advertising purposes. ChatGPT Health still cannot replace doctors and should not be used for diagnosis or treatment.
