Claude Security Releases Claude Code: Individual Paid Users Can Also Scan Full Repositories for Vulnerabilities

According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, Anthropic has integrated Claude Security's deep scanning capability into a Claude Code plugin. The plugin is now in open beta and available for installation to all Claude Code paid users. The hosted version of Claude Security remains exclusive to Enterprise customers.

Users can scan their entire codebase or focus on branch differences, PR variances, or individual commits. Upon discovering vulnerabilities, users can choose to have the system generate patches for their review and application.

Claude Security itself is not a new product. It was publicly tested with Enterprise customers on April 30, 2026, following a limited research preview under the name Claude Code Security.

The new plugin runs within the Claude Code session. Multiple Claude Agents analyze the architecture, establish threat models, and identify vulnerabilities. Each discovery and patch undergoes independent Agent validation. Scanning activities are counted towards Claude Code usage.
