BlockBeats News, July 22nd, French shipping company CMA CGM announced on its official website that due to the escalation of hostilities in the Strait of Hormuz, the company will implement an Emergency Fuel Surcharge starting from August 1st. The company stated: "Due to the recent escalation of hostilities in the Strait of Hormuz over the past few days, fuel prices have once again sharply risen, reversing the easing trend of the past few weeks."
