BlockBeats News, July 21st, according to Forbes, London-based humanoid robot company Humanoid, founded just two years ago, has developed its flagship humanoid robot HMND 01 at a speed close to an industry record. Today, Humanoid announced the completion of a $152 million Series A funding round, with a post-money valuation of $1.35 billion. This round of funding was led by Prime Movers Lab, with participation from German industrial giants Schaeffler and Bosch. In addition, investment firm Aglaé Ventures, supported by the LVMH founder Arnault family, also participated in this round of financing.
This funding round comes only a few months after the company signed significant commercial agreements. Previously, Humanoid had reached a procurement agreement with Schaeffler for 1,000 humanoid robots and secured production capacity with the support of Bosch, enabling a production capacity of 100,000 robots in the next five years.
