The Hong Kong Stock Market is about to welcome its largest stock issuance in nearly seven years, with BlackRock, Hillhouse Capital, and Temasek set to become cornerstone investors in Ant Group's Hong Kong IPO.

BlockBeats News, July 21st, according to sources, BlackRock, Hillhouse Capital, and Temasek are expected to become cornerstone investors in the potential $8 billion Hong Kong IPO of InterContinental Sunrise Technology. Investment firms Sequoia Capital, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Wellington Management Co., and Yunfeng Fund also plan to participate in the transaction as cornerstone investors, with these cornerstone investors expected to subscribe to nearly half of the shares.


InterContinental Sunrise Technology is set to start investor subscriptions as early as Wednesday, in what could be Hong Kong's largest stock issuance in seven years. The base offering size is around $7 billion, but the greenshoe option could expand the final size to $8 billion.


According to Bitget market data, InterContinental Sunrise Technology (300308.SZ) is currently the largest weighted stock in the CSI 300 Index. As a leading AI optical module supplier, its market value and index weight have rapidly increased due to the surge in AI infrastructure demand. In the period from May to June 2026, it surpassed CATL to become the largest weighted stock in the CSI 300. Its core business covers optical communication devices and intelligent equipment, with products used in cloud data centers, AI computing clusters, wireless communication, and metropolitan and backbone networks.
