「Whale Watch」 $107 million Long Liquidation, 40% Position Cut, Remaining Holding with Breakeven Sell Order

BlockBeats News, July 20th, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the largest long position holder who previously held $107 million worth of BTC long positions has started to reduce the position to take profit, and has set stop-loss orders close to the position's entry price for the remaining position.

Within the past hour, the whale has sold a total of 903.4 BTC through 10 limit sell orders, with a total transaction amount of approximately $58.424 million, an average price of around $64,666.1 per BTC, realizing a profit of $554,400; considering some additional buying during this period, the net reduction is 668.2 BTC.

At the time of writing, the whale still holds 994.2 BTC long positions, with a position value of around $64.195 million, an entry price of $64,052 per BTC, an unrealized gain of $510,000; the liquidation price has dropped to $61,604.3.

Stop-loss orders have been set for all remaining long positions, triggering a breakeven liquidation if BTC falls below $64,050: if the price drops back to the entry point, the realized profit of $554,400 will be locked in as the whale exits; if the price continues to rise, the position will be held for further gains, with this overall setting leaning towards a defensive strategy.
