Grok Build Open Sources Full Codebase After Controversy, Full Team Allocation Reset

According to 动察 Beating monitoring, SpaceXAI has announced the open-sourcing of Grok Build and has reset all user usage limits.

The open-sourced content includes CLI, terminal interface, and Agent runtime source code, released under the Apache 2.0 license.

This open-sourcing is for the development tooling and does not include the Grok 4.5 model. Grok Build still requires connectivity to the cloud-based model for operation. External code contributions are currently not being accepted in the official repository.

Prior to this decision, it was revealed that Grok Build was inadvertently default uploading complete Git repositories. SpaceXAI has since adjusted its data retention settings and committed to deleting all previously uploaded user data.
