According to BotMinds monitoring, OpenAI has partnered with keyboard manufacturer Work Louder to launch Codex Micro, a mini keyboard specifically designed to control the Codex programming agent. Priced at $230, the device is available for limited presale and is expected to be shipped on July 24.
The device features 13 mechanical keys, a joystick, knobs, and touch sensors. The key lights can display whether the Agent is thinking, running, waiting, or has completed a task. The joystick can be used to initiate code review, debugging, and refactoring, while the knobs are used to adjust reasoning intensity.
