After the viral success of the Hermes Agent, its parent company Nous Research may be valued at $1.5 billion.

According to Dongcha Beating Monitor, the open-source AI Agent company Nous Research is finalizing a new round of funding. The funding amount is at least $75 million, with a valuation of $1.5 billion.

This round is led by Robot Ventures, with participation from USV and other institutions. The transaction is not yet complete, and Nous Research has declined to comment.

The Hermes Agent developed by Nous Research can run continuously on a computer or cloud server. It can search the web, write code, understand images, and automatically create and improve skills based on usage.

Hermes has received approximately 214,000 stars on GitHub. The new funding will be used to expand the product and business model, including a cloud hosting service for the general public.
