From 'Anti-Human' to AI Trailblazer, Musk Does an About-Face on Anthropic

According to Scry Info Beating's monitoring, Musk openly admitted that he had previously misunderstood Anthropic. It is now the leader in the AI field, with no company having released better models than Mythos and Fable.

This turnaround is significant.

In February of this year, Musk also described Anthropic as "dislike Western civilization," with models that are biased against white people, Asians, heterosexuals, and males, calling it a "anti-human and evil" company. He also accused Anthropic of massive data theft for training, describing the company as "self-righteous and hypocritical." In March, he further asked, "Is there a more hypocritical company than Anthropic?"

The turning point came after the two sides discussed business.

In May, Anthropic leased SpaceX’s Colossus 1 data center, with access to over 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs. Musk subsequently stated that he had spent a considerable amount of time communicating with senior Anthropic executives, finding that they were "very capable, very committed to doing the right thing," and no one triggered his "evil detector."

Two months later, the "evil detector" had been upgraded to championship certification. Musk not only ranked Anthropic as the top AI company but also pledged not to abruptly cut off computing power to harm the other party because "that's not my style."
