OpenAI Launches Workflow Agent ChatGPT Work and Integrates Codex into ChatGPT

According to Pulse by OneMillion AI, OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Work. This is a new Agent within ChatGPT powered by Codex and GPT-5.6.

It not only answers questions but can also take over entire workflows. Users provide a goal, and it can access connected applications and files to generate documents, spreadsheets, presentations, analysis reports, and web apps.

ChatGPT Work can integrate with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, SharePoint, email, calendar, CRM, and project management tools. Users can also mention applications using @ to have it extract context from them.

There are significant changes on the desktop front. The Codex app will be integrated into the new ChatGPT desktop app. The new desktop version will offer Chat, Work, Codex, and a built-in browser.

ChatGPT Work is now available to Pro, Enterprise, and Education users. Plus and Business users will gain access in the coming days. The desktop Chat, Work, and Codex are open to all tiers, including free users.
