BlockBeats News, July 8th - During the NATO summit today (July 8th), President Trump of the United States met with Ukrainian President Zelensky and once again discussed the Iran situation. Trump stated that the U.S. has not yet targeted Iran's bridges, power plants, and desalination plants, but if necessary, the U.S. would destroy them.
Trump mentioned that the U.S. military had struck the strategic Iranian oil export hub of Kharg Island the previous night, but he requested that the oil pipelines not be targeted because the U.S. "might take over Kharg Island."
He also stated that the U.S. might reimpose a naval blockade on Iran. Trump expressed doubt about Iran's sincerity in negotiations and indicated a possibility of launching a "large-scale attack" to "destroy many things."
