According to Tensor Tracking, NVIDIA is overtaking Intel and AMD in the market. AI startup Perplexity has confirmed the purchase of NVIDIA's latest Vera CPU. This chip is specifically designed for AI agents. When performing autoML tasks, it is 1.5 times faster than a traditional CPU.
Traditional chips are designed for humans, who take breaks from work. But AI agents don't need rest. They continuously call tools and run code. This has made traditional CPUs a computational bottleneck. NVIDIA anticipates that this CPU will generate $20 billion in revenue this fiscal year. OpenAI, Anthropic, and Oracle have also planned to make purchases.
