BlockBeats News, July 7th, according to Coinglass data, the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has been in a continuous negative premium zone for 50 days since May 19th, with the latest reading at -0.0742%, setting a new record for the longest consecutive negative premium since the introduction of this index.
Previously, the index was in a negative premium zone for 40 consecutive days from January 16th to February 24th this year, surpassing the period of the "1011 Crash" by about 30 days. Historical data shows that a prolonged negative premium is usually accompanied by outflows from U.S. institutional funds or indicates potential short-term market correction pressure.
