Dip Bounce Surpasses 2.5x! Lighter Recent Positive Developments Overview

BlockBeats News, July 6th, according to HTX market information, LIT (Lighter) has continued to rebound since hitting a low of $0.77 in early April, breaking through $2.7 today, with a cumulative increase of over 2.5 times and a nearly 24-hour increase of 22%. The recent positive developments for LIT (Lighter) are as follows:

On June 30th, Lighter announced a significant adjustment to its tokenomics. In the future, the buyback conducted through the trading platform revenue will change from a simple buyback to permanent full burn. At the same time, there are plans to first burn approximately 15.5 million LIT tokens that have been repurchased, accounting for about 6.3% of the circulating supply. This mechanism will be officially implemented starting from the third quarter of 2026. Additionally, the source of staking rewards will also shift from trading platform revenue to the ecosystem reserve fund.

On July 1st, Lighter became an official perpetual contract partner of Robinhood. Lighter is directly integrated into the Robinhood Wallet, supporting perpetual contract trading with Robinhood Chain assets as collateral. Platform trading volume, TVL, and revenue show robust growth. Lighter's daily perpetual contract trading volume once exceeded $10 billion, with a 30-day cumulative trading volume reaching nearly $200 billion. TVL has remained above $530 million and reached a peak of over $1.4 billion, listed by Grayscale in the Top 15 on-chain application revenue, with approximately $50 million in protocol revenue.


Founder announced joining CFTC's Innovation Advisory Committee today. Lighter's founder and CEO Vladimir Novakovski has been appointed as a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC) Innovation Advisory Committee, which is responsible for providing advice to the CFTC on the intersection of technology, law, and finance.
